Your way to impact:
As a Field Technician you will lead our telecommunications deployments, routine service operations, and network-related installations. Success in this position is built upon establishing client confidence while providing a superior, customer-centric experience. You will manage the installation, repair, adjustment, upkeep, and final approval of network infrastructure systems. Furthermore, you will be responsible for scoping schedules and providing detailed daily log entries. Your day-to-day:
- Diagnose and isolate system faults within intricate electrical networks, control apparatus, HVAC equipment, and advanced climate interfaces.
- Execute comprehensive operational assessments and validation of newly commissioned infrastructure prior to formal project turnover.
- Analyze engineering schematics, technical documentation, and design layouts to ensure precision in all system deployments.
- Maintain rigorous documentation, including diagnostic summaries, maintenance chronologies, component cycling, and overall operational metrics.
- Liaise with management, site leads, and external regulatory bodies to address and streamline integration challenges.
- Uphold unwavering adherence to industrial safety standards, focusing on LOTO mandates and relevant OSHA regulations.
- Ensure full compliance with established UBG safety protocols during the utilization of corporate assets, machinery, and instrumentation.
What you bring:
- Minimum of two years of practical involvement in telecommunications infrastructure, electronic system maintenance, or industrial cabling deployments.
- Completion of an associate degree or technical certification from an accredited vocational institution is preferred.
- Technical proficiency in Google Workspace, SmartSheets, and Procore, or equivalent project management platforms.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment screening, including background verification and drug testing.
- Possession of a current and valid driver’s license.

Working conditions:
- Travel is expected for this position 90% using a company vehicle.
- This is a full-time position.
- Construction jobsites.
Physical requirements:
- Capacity for extensive travel (up to 90%) to various project locations utilizing corporate fleet vehicles.
- Physical capability to lift, transport, and position equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to maintain prolonged periods of standing or kneeling, including ladder navigation and work at substantial elevations.
- Willingness to perform duties within confined spaces and across a variety of environmental and weather conditions.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
