Fabrication Technician will have a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in automotive assembly, vehicle builds, fabrication, or welding. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level or early-career candidate looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced prototype environment.
Responsibilities
- Support vehicle builds, assembly, and fabrication projects
- Perform MIG and TIG welding (approximately 50/50 split)
- Work with sheet metal, fabrication tools, and hand tools
- Assist with rapid prototyping and 3D printing activities
- Operate fabrication equipment such as waterjets and bending machines
- Follow detailed work instructions and engineering drawings
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in fabrication, welding, automotive assembly, or related field
- Basic MIG and TIG welding experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive technology
- Experience using common shop and hand tools
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Willingness to learn and develop fabrication skills
Entry-level candidates with automotive, welding, fabrication, or trade school experience are encouraged to apply.
