Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Personal Care Unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient-centered care, with experience in various healthcare settings. St. Anne's Retirement Community has a full-time CNA position available in our Personal Care unit for the following shift:
- Shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
- Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately, ensuring timely communication of changes to nursing staff.
- Support medication administration under supervision, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy preparation, and aseptic techniques in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across settings including long-term care, assisted living, hospitals (including ICU and trauma centers), and outpatient clinics.
- Maintain detailed medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Support patients in behavioral health or post-acute care environments by delivering compassionate caregiving tailored to individual needs.
Qualifications
- You must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
- You must be a Certified Nursing Assistant on the PA Nurse Aide registry.
- A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
Pay: $13.90 - $18.50 per hour
