Duties
- Assist the Store Manager in supervising daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential.
- Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and ensure accurate bookkeeping and payroll processing.
- Conduct employee orientation, training, and development to foster a high-performing team.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Support marketing initiatives, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to boost store visibility.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong skills in negotiation, sales management, and employee training & development.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems, POS technology, and retail math principles.
- Demonstrated leadership with the ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, payroll, and cash handling.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
