In this role, you will work with real-time, internet-generated leads in a professional and supportive office environment. Our team works year-round to grow and retain clients who entrust their auto, home, and personal lines insurance needs to us.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales: Convert incoming leads into loyal customers by quoting prices, customizing coverage options, and highlighting GEICO’s value.
- Provide Exceptional Service: Assist new and existing policyholders with auto, home, and personal lines insurance needs while helping them make well-informed buying decisions.
- Cross-Sell & Retain: Identify organic cross-selling opportunities (e.g., bundling home and auto) during client service and retention interactions.
- Product Mastery: Quickly learn GEICO products, underwriting guidelines, and sales techniques to deliver efficient, top-tier service.
Qualifications & Core Skills
- License: Property & Casualty (P&C) or Personal Lines Insurance License required (or preferred, depending on hiring stage).
- Tech-Savvy: Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple quoting systems and software simultaneously (typing speed of 40+ WPM required).
- High Energy & Drive: A competitive spirit, a passion to excel, and a love for phone-based client interaction.
- Detail-Oriented: Great memory for processes, guidelines, and complex data points.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to connect with diverse customers, build immediate rapport, and active listening skills.
- Reliability: Excellent punctuality and a commitment to seeing quotes through to completion.

Schedule & Work Location
- Location: In-Person (Greenwood, IN or Castleton, IN)
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturdays: Rotating schedule (2 Saturdays per month, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with a flexible compensatory day off during the following week.
