We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Donut Cutter & Fryer to join our vibrant bakery team! Duties
- Carefully cut and shape dough using specialized tools to create uniform donuts ready for frying
- Operate fryers efficiently to cook donuts to perfection, maintaining optimal temperature and timing
- Decorate and glaze donuts with precision, incorporating cake decorating techniques to enhance visual appeal
- Package finished products neatly and efficiently for sale or delivery, ensuring freshness and presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work station, adhering strictly to food safety and handling protocols
- Assist in food production tasks such as mixing, portioning, and preparing dough or batter as needed
- Support the team with general food preparation duties, including ingredient measurement and equipment setup
Experience
- Prior experience in food production, baking, or pastry arts is required
- Hands-on kitchen experience in a bakery or restaurant is required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting is extremely important
- Previous experience with food industry equipment like fryers, mixers, proofers, glazers, ovens, and/or pastry tools is necessary
- A passion for baking, cooking, and creating visually appealing treats will set you apart
