Mechanical Assembler
About the Role
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble, test, and inspect precision rotary unions used in a wide range of industrial applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in building high-quality products in a modern, climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities

Assemble rotary unions and related products according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures

Perform functional testing, pressure testing, and final inspections to verify product performance and quality

Read and interpret assembly drawings, bills of materials, and work orders

Use hand tools, torque tools, measuring instruments, and test equipment safely and accurately

Identify and report quality issues, damaged components, or assembly discrepancies
-
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation

Assist with troubleshooting assembly and test issues while working closely with engineering and production teams

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company safety procedures
Qualifications
Required
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
2+ years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with precision mechanical components

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions

Basic computer skills for production reporting and documentation
Preferred
-
Experience assembling hydraulic, pneumatic, or rotating mechanical equipment

Familiarity with pressure testing, leak testing, and precision measuring instruments

Experience working within an ISO 9001 or similar quality management system

Forklift or overhead crane experience (or willingness to obtain certification)
