Job Summary:
The Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for protecting people, property, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment. The officer patrols assigned areas, responds to incidents, and enforces company policies while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol buildings, parking lots, and assigned areas on foot or by vehicle.
- Control access to facilities by.
- Respond to emergencies, disturbances, accidents, and suspicious activity.
- Complete detailed incident, accident, and daily activity reports.
- Conduct security inspections and identify potential safety hazards.
- Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining professionalism.
- Provide assistance to employees, customers, visitors, and emergency responders.
- De-escalate conflicts using effective communication and conflict resolution techniques.
- Contact law enforcement, fire, or medical personnel when necessary.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license (if required by the position).
- Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements

- Maintain alertness throughout the work shift.
