We are seeking a reliable, adaptable, and tech-savvy Cold Storage Outbound Coordinator to join our team. This role involves operating a forklift in a cold storage facility and managing outbound logistics to ensure accurate and timely shipments. The ideal candidate will have prior outbound experience, knowledge of major carriers (UPS, FedEx, etc.), and be comfortable using scanners and inventory management systems.
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 12:00 PM to finish
Hours: Approximately 30–35 hours per week
Pay Rate: $25/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely in cold storage to load, unload, and move products.
- Coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Handle inbound and outbound freight; verify documentation and product quality.
- Maintain accurate records using scanners and warehouse software.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification/license.
- Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods (PPE provided).
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Experience with outbound coordination and shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, etc.).
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using scanners and inventory systems.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
Working Conditions:
Work is primarily performed in a cold storage environment with exposure to low temperatures ( 30F - 20F), loud noises, and physical tasks. Proper safety and cold-weather gear will be provided.
