Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and motivated Office Manager to join our legal team. We are a growing law firm that exclusively represents plaintiffs in unlawful detainer matters. The Office Manager will help keep cases moving by reviewing new matters, addressing rejected filings, managing case workflows, and coordinating with attorneys and staff. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys legal operations and wants to play an important role in a growing law firm.
Full job training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with attorneys regarding case status and required next steps
- Review rejected court filings, identify the reason for rejection, and coordinate corrections
- Monitor staff assignments, address workload or deadline issues, and communicate with attorneys regarding case status and next steps
- Answer phone calls from clients and the court
- Calendaring
- Drafting correspondence
Experience
- Prior law firm, office management, legal assistant, or paralegal experience is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and identify missing or incomplete work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Clio and knowledge of unlawful detainer procedures are a plus
- Dependable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of assigned work

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
