Qualifications:
- Current Idaho State Teaching Certificate
- Idaho Exceptional Child Certificate (SPED Endorsement required)
- Previous experience with Emotional Regulation Classroom (ERC) settings preferred
- Comfort and experience collaborating with staff, therapists, and families
- Willingness to assist with toileting and engage with students of all needs
- Ability to adapt to a caseload spanning K-12 with diverse disabilities and severity levels
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and therapists
- Develop, monitor, and document progress on IEP goals
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Manage crisis intervention and provide support for medically fragile students
- Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
