EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited school.
- Basic education on drafting 3D modeling, Solid Works, or AutoCAD preferred.
Training in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Gibbs CAM, PC-DMIS, or equivalent CAD/CAM and CMM programming software preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
- At least 3 years of experience in CNC programming or CMM programming, manufacturing engineering, tooling design, or aerospace component repair and manufacturing.
At least 3 years of MRO repair station experience.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE OR ABILITIES:
Language/Communication Skills: A bility to read and interpret documents such as emails, reports, and correspondence. Excellent ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
Computer Skills: Possess a general understanding in the areas of application programming and database and system design, including Outlook, MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint, 3D modeling, and programming CNC machines.
Other Skills : Ability to use basic mathematics, possess a basic understanding of the areas of machining, welding, and inspection.
Reasoning Abilities : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Organizational Skills : Strong organizational skills, strict attention to detail, and ability to multitask and prioritize as necessary, with minimal supervisory direction.
Interpersonal Skills : Must work well with and communicate effectively with others. Must be flexible in handling multiple tasks
Technical Skills : Proficient in CNC programming and setup. Experience with CMM programming and dimensional inspection techniques preferred. Knowledge of GD&T, blueprint interpretation, tooling design, aerospace manufacturing processes, and CAD/CAM software are desirable.

Work is typically performed in a shop or engineering environment. Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock. Noise level is generally low to moderate.
