ResponsibilitiesRecruiting
- Lead recruiting efforts for drivers, dispatchers, and office staff
- Screen candidates, schedule interviews, and coordinate onboarding
- Monitor recruiting metrics and continuously optimize the hiring process
- Ensure new hires are properly integrated and set up to succeed
Employee Relations
- Build strong, trusting relationships with employees at all levels, especially drivers and field staff
- Support employees through concerns and conflicts, acting as a professional bridge to management
- Promote a positive, stable, and supportive company culture
- Implement retention strategies to reduce turnover and improve engagement
Operations
- Coordinate daily operations across multiple locations
- Conduct quarterly site visits to observe, assess, and support operations
- Track and follow up on employee attendance and other operational processes
- Ensure smooth communication between managers, dispatchers, and drivers
- Assist leadership in managing projects and operational initiatives, including coordination with external partners
Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, staffing, or operations support (HR experience a plus)
- Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency highly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Emotionally mature, professional, and able to handle sensitive situations calmly
- People-oriented, empathetic, and trustworthy
- Willing to travel quarterly to company locations
- Demonstrates long-term commitment and reliability
- Enjoys working with diverse cultures and multicultural teams
- Able to pass a background check
