Total Compensation range: $145k-$160k
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in Infection Prevention and Control? We're seeking a collaborative clinical leader to oversee infection prevention programs within a respected healthcare organization committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced infection prevention professional to partner with nursing leadership, educate interdisciplinary teams, and help drive quality, regulatory compliance, and patient safety initiatives throughout the organization.

What You'll Do
- Lead and oversee the organization's Infection Prevention and Control Program.
- Monitor infection surveillance data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct regular clinical rounds to evaluate infection prevention practices across patient care areas.
- Develop, implement, and maintain infection prevention policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Serve as the clinical expert on CDC guidelines, healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership, physicians, quality teams, and other departments to reduce infection risk.
- Investigate communicable disease exposures and outbreaks while coordinating appropriate interventions.
- Educate and mentor clinical staff on infection prevention protocols and emerging best practices.
- Participate in quality improvement, performance improvement, and regulatory readiness activities.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation requirements.
Qualifications
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- BSN preferred.
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of RN experience with dedicated Infection Prevention/Infection Control experience.
