We are seeking an experienced server to join our team.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere from the start
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS
- Serve food and drinks with professionalism, including cocktail service and beverage presentation, while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, and specialty cocktails to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Process cash and card payments efficiently while managing cash handling responsibilities with accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables promptly, resetting for new guests, and supporting overall restaurant sanitation efforts
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, and spirits to elevate guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or fast-paced restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking between serving tables and handling transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling
- Experience with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service required
- Previous serving experience required 3 year minimum
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude to foster guest satisfaction
