Job Title: Sit-Down Forklift Driver

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Driver to join our team in a cold storage warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of certified experience operating a sit-down forklift and be comfortable working in low-temperature conditions. In addition to forklift duties, this position requires flexibility to perform general labor tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, move, and stack products
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse, including cold storage areas
- Perform palletizing, staging, and inventory tasks
- Assist with general labor duties such as sorting, packing, labeling, and cleaning
- Follow all safety guidelines, warehouse procedures, and cold-environment protocols
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues
- Maintain accurate records of product movement
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent sit-down forklift experience (certification preferred)
- Ability to work in a cold storage environment for extended periods
- Willingness to perform general labor duties as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Strong attention to safety and detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
