American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with active CCC-SLP certification and home health experience for a 13-week travel contract in the Bardstown, KY area.

Home health care setting covering 11 counties across two offices (Elizabethtown and Bardstown) — travel from corner to corner of the territory can exceed 2.5 hours

Primarily treats patients with CVA/Aphasia and related diagnoses

Caseload of approximately 6 patients per day

Documents using Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR
-
Day shift schedule, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week
-
No weekend or holiday requirements

Active KY Speech-Language Pathology license — pending licenses are not accepted

Active ASHA Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) certification — pending certifications are not accepted

Active BLS (AHA) certification

Minimum 1 year of clinical SLP experience

Home health experience required

Valid driver's license required for consideration

2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Provides in-home speech-language pathology services to patients across a large multi-county territory

Approximately 2-week orientation with a dedicated work coach
