Our childcare center is seeking qualified teachers as a candidate for a full time Pre-K teacher position. We are looking for engaging and creative teachers to be a part of our team. In addition to fostering high quality engaging learning environments, teachers are responsible for implementation of our curriculum and assessment. Must have good classroom management skills and be able to communicate with parents daily.
We provide care year-round and education for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Hours of operation are 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. However, Pre-K hours are from 8 am-2:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
- CDA required
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in ECE preferred
- 3 years experience working with young children and their families
- Strong communication skills: oral, reading and writing
- Working knowledge of growth and development of young children with the ability to implement in the classroom setting
- Ability to work as a team player
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Familiarity with BFTS rules and regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
