CGC Housekeepers work to clean before, during and after events. We strive to use eco-friendly cleaning products in our facilities.
In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across our camp buildings and grounds. Your dedication to detail, efficiency, and customer service will ensure our clients enjoy a pristine living space every day. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of indoor and outdoor camp spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and outdoor area upkeep when necessary.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met consistently.
- Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care.
- Operate various cleaning equipment and use appropriate cleaning detergents to maintain surfaces and floors effectively.
- Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely while adhering to proper handling protocols.
- Maintain organized cleaning schedules and manage time efficiently to complete all assigned duties promptly.
Qualifications
- Experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services OR willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and related tools.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work when required.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the day.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
- Experience with laundry processes and the use of various cleaning detergents is preferred.
