Job description (Internship for School Credit)
BACKGROUND
What is CHANGE LAB®?
There's something different going on here. This is not the same old lectures and videos. Nope. We’re talking interactive. We are a start-up based in downtown Los Angeles and have developed a series of interactive, gamified and immersive learning courses, activity and services to support the nonprofit community - online and live. They are fun, crazy, engaging experiences. Oh, and by the way, fun and crazy is how we all learn best. We utilize Games, AR/VR, Animation, Graphic Design, and AI. You can see more at www.changelab.studio. Launched in late 2024 we are now focused on partnerships and engagement.
DUTIES
Include but are not limited to:
· Create 3D characters using the newest technologies
. Develop and implement character rigging
. Create and/or modify characters
. Ensure fluid motion
. Create 3D assets and environments
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have good communication skills as well as proficiency in 3D character and asset creation. Experience with Unity (VR experience a plus). Must possess at least two y ears of education in 3D animation. Have online portfolio for review. The ideal candidate is interested in nonprofits and has a flexible schedule that allows for two days per live in our downtown Los Angeles office (Tuesday and Thursdays preferred to coincide with your chief engineer's schedule). Our office is easily accessible by public transportation. Important that the ideal candidate is interested in committing to a minimum of 12 weeks.
COURSE CREDIT
Our internships focused on students seeking course credit. We have no paid internships.
