About Ez Health
Ez Health helps seniors navigate the healthcare system and overcome social and environmental barriers to getting good care. Our goal is to help seniors stay healthy and independent in their own homes. We're looking for empathetic physicians licensed in multiple states to care for patients across the US.
Position Overview
- Role: Telehealth Physician
- Location: Fully remote
- Schedule: At least 10 hours per week. Scheduling is flexible, and we can guarantee at least 10 hours weekly depending on your licensure.
- Compensation: 1099 contract. $80 per completed appointment, $25 per no-show. Appointments are 20 minutes long. Your effective rate will be about $185 per hour.
What You'll Do
- Conduct initial intake evaluations with new patients (ages 65+) by video or phone
- Evaluate patients holistically and build care plans that address social and environmental barriers to health
Requirements
- Active MD/DO license in at least 5 states (GA, MA, TN, MO, MN, SC, AL, LA, and AR preferred)
- Board certification
- 2+ years of independent practice as an MD/DO
- No history of malpractice
- Internal or Family Medicine background preferred
- Comfortable managing complex chronic conditions
- Provides patient education at every visit
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Telemedicine or virtual care experience preferred
- Comfortable with technology, including helping patients troubleshoot technical problems at home
- Timely and professional
- Medicare enrollment preferred
