Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Auto Body Shop Manager to lead our collision repair team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily shop operations, ensure high-quality vehicle repairs, and foster a positive work environment. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced automotive repair setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the auto body shop, including workflow, estimating, insurance company negotiations, staffing, and quality control
- Supervise technicians performing auto body repairs, auto painting and cleaning
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper use of hand tools and power tools
- Coordinate vehicle intake, repair scheduling, parts ordering, and completion timelines to maximize productivity
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts inventory, and service documentation
- Provide technical guidance on auto repair projects and mechanical issues when needed
- Foster a team environment that emphasizes continuous improvement and exceptional customer service
Skills
- Proven experience with automotive repair shops or collision centers
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, auto body repair, and auto painting
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques
- Knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety regulations
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff, insurance companies, and customers

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
