Responsibilities
- Support servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and delivering food orders efficiently
- Assist with food handling and preparation tasks under the supervision of culinary staff to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing service stations
- Help with food safety procedures by adhering to proper food handling protocols and hygiene practices
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing when needed
- Provide excellent guest services by greeting patrons warmly, answering questions about the menu, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Support banquet and special event setups by assisting with food presentation, table arrangements, and cleanup
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of food handling and safety protocols
- Familiarity with serving techniques, bussing, and basic food preparation skills
- Experience using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Previous banquet or hotel experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to work in diverse settings
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Knowledge of kitchen operations or culinary experience beneficial for supporting food prep and service tasks
