Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging X-Ray procedures with precision and attention to detail.
- Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain optimal images while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure.
- Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to facilitate diagnostic evaluations and provide high-quality imaging results promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment calibration records.
- Keep imaging equipment well-maintained, troubleshoot technical issues promptly, and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and participate in ongoing training to enhance professional skills.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles.
- Proficiency in operating X-ray machines.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures to patients and collaborating effectively with healthcare team.
