Duties
- Monitor and control access to the premises by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security risks or safety hazards.
- Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the property.
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to security incidents or emergencies, including medical situations or conflicts.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and patrols for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
- Assist with loss prevention initiatives by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism.
- Support emergency response efforts by coordinating with law enforcement or first responders when necessary.
Skills
- Strong observational skills with the ability to detect unusual activity quickly.
- Knowledge of security procedures and protocols, including conflict management techniques.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification to provide immediate assistance if needed.
- Experience or training in law enforcement, military service, or security operations is highly valued.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems such as CCTV for effective monitoring.
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors.
