Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Clear tables efficiently, bus tables as needed, and assist with food preparation or kitchen support when required
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, adhere to food safety protocols, and ensure compliance with sanitation regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation, handling, and sanitation standards
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest interactions
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices in the food industry
