Force Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Programmer / Setup Machinist / Operator to join our precision machining team.
This position is ideal for an experienced machinist who can take a job from blueprint through programming, setup, machining, inspection, and completion. We primarily use HAAS CNC Mills and Mastercam and manufacture precision prototype and short-run components.
What You'll Do
- Program, set up, and operate HAAS CNC Mills
- Create and modify programs using Mastercam
- Set up jobs from engineering drawings and CAD models
- Select appropriate tooling, workholding, speeds, and feeds
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
- Machine prototype and short-run precision components
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
- Make program and offset adjustments to maintain tight tolerances
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues
- Work independently to complete jobs accurately and on schedule
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of CNC milling experience
- Strong experience with HAAS CNC Mills
- Experience programming with Mastercam
- Ability to independently set up and run CNC milling jobs
- Strong blueprint-reading skills
- Understanding of GD&T and tight-tolerance machining
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment
- Strong knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining practices
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and make appropriate adjustments
- Reliable and able to work independently
Preferred Experience
- Prototype and short-run machining
- Tight-tolerance work, including ±.0001"
- 3-, 4-, or 5-axis milling
- Aluminum, stainless steel, steel, and other common machining materials
- CAD/CAM experience
- Fixture and workholding design
Schedule
1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Monday–Friday
Overtime available as needed.
