Customer Service Associate
If you have a passion for non-profit work and thrift stores, then consider this Customer Service Associate opportunity! You’ll help process donations, stock merchandise, and deliver excellent customer service in this full-time or part-time role.
Responsibilities of the Customer Service Associate
- Provide a welcoming and positive shopping experience for customers
- Assist customers with purchases, pricing inquiries, vouchers, and store policies
- Help process donations
- Sort, price, and display merchandise
- Restock shelves and rotate inventory as needed
- Operate the cash register and process sales transactions accurately and in adherence to policy
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth store operations
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications of the Customer Service Associate
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Respect for and ability to maintain client confidentiality
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and pricing items
- Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
