Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Maintain food safety standards by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Use knife skills and slicing techniques to prepare ingredients accurately and efficiently
- Support catering events and special meal preparations with attention to detail
- Ensure safety standards are upheld during all phases of food production and service
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experiences for guests
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings
- Strong knowledge of food safety management and handling procedures
- Excellent knife skills, including slicing techniques for various ingredients
- Experience with meal preparation, menu planning, and catering operations
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced kitchen environments while maintaining safety standards
- Familiarity with dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to support serving guests effectively
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
