We are seeking a dependable CDL-A Driver to join our transportation team. This is a Teamsters Local 117 union position offering competitive wages, excellent benefits, stable year-round employment, and the opportunity to support healthcare facilities throughout our region.

Schedule
- Full-time position
- This is a night shift position; start time is typically between 5-6PM
- Overtime available
- Weekend availability required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver clean linen and collect soiled linen from hospitals and healthcare facilities.
- Safely operate CDL-A tractor trailers and straight trucks.
- Load, unload, secure, and transport linen carts.
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate DOT and company-required documentation.
- Ensure loads are secured and transported safely.
- Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and customer site requirements.
- Report vehicle, equipment, or service issues promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service while representing HCSA.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle and work environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Ability to meet DOT qualification requirements, including drug and alcohol testing.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Ability to obtain customer facility access credentials as required.
- Previous delivery, route-driving, or commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to comply with the terms and conditions of the applicable Teamsters Local 117 collective bargaining agreement.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push, pull, and maneuver wheeled linen carts weighing up to 700 pounds.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, and climbing in and out of vehicles.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Working Conditions
This position services healthcare facilities that require reliable deliveries regardless of weather conditions. Drivers must be able to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional customer service.
