WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Serve retail and internal customers at the counter and by phone - providing accurate parts information, pricing, and availability with professionalism and efficiency
- Assist service technicians and advisors with parts lookup, ordering, and timely delivery to keep the service department productive
- Process parts orders accurately in the DMS - ensuring all transactions are documented and invoiced correctly
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts inventory - maintaining bin accuracy and a clean, organized warehouse
- Follow up on back-ordered and special-order parts - communicating status updates proactively to technicians and service advisors
- Support parts returns, warranty claims, and core submissions per department procedures
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts
- Support additional parts department duties as needed to keep the operation running smoothly
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous parts counter experience in a franchised dealership or automotive parts environment preferred
- Volvo or European import brand experience a strong plus - familiarity with Volvo parts systems and OEM platforms is a significant advantage
- Accurate and detail-oriented - parts transactions need to be right the first time
- Comfortable with parts lookup systems and DMS platforms - or quick to learn them
- Clear, professional communicator - whether serving a technician at the window or a retail guest on the phone
- Able to manage multiple requests simultaneously in a fast-paced service environment
- Reliable, organized, and self-directed - you take ownership of your counter
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
