We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Body Shop Estimator to join our Commercial Automotive repair team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers and insurance adjusters, accurately assessing vehicle damage and preparing comprehensive repair estimates. Your expertise will help streamline the repair process, ensure customer satisfaction, and maximize shop profitability. .
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to identify all necessary repairs using estimating software and manual assessments
- Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates that include parts, labor, and materials, ensuring transparency for customers and insurance companies
- Communicate effectively with customers, insurance adjusters, and technicians to clarify repair scopes and answer questions
- Collaborate with technicians to review repair procedures and ensure estimates align with actual work needed
- Manage client communication throughout the repair process to provide updates and ensure satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial and auto estimating software and collision repair processes
- Commercial experience or background management is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and insurance representatives
- Ability to upsell additional services confidently while maintaining integrity and transparency
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and procedures for accurate assessments
- Mechanical experience or service technician background enhances understanding of repair needs
- Basic driving skills for commercial vehicles
- Bilingual
