Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, food prep teams, and catering personnel, ensuring smooth shift operations and high standards of performance.
- Oversee food production processes, including menu planning, food handling, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards.
- Manage inventory control and stock levels for kitchen supplies, ingredients, and catering materials to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Enforce strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation procedures across all kitchen areas.
- Assist in managing kitchen budgets, including cost control measures related to food management and labor hours.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably with banquet or fine dining background.
- Extensive culinary experience with strong knowledge of food production, catering operations, and restaurant management.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and inventory control practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage shift operations effectively.
- Experience in food safety protocols, dietary department procedures, and hospitality standards.
- Background in food service management, including menu planning, kitchen management, and catering logistics.
- Previous roles involving restaurant experience or the food industry that showcase your cooking skills and commitment to quality.
