Goldrock INVT LLC is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Flagger / Traffic Control Technician to help manage traffic and protect workers, pedestrians, and drivers on active construction sites throughout Washington State.
Responsibilities
- Direct and control vehicle and pedestrian traffic safely through work zones
- Set up and remove traffic control devices, including cones, signs, barricades, and channelizers
- Follow MUTCD and project-specific traffic control plans
- Communicate clearly with crew members, equipment operators, and the public
- Maintain safe traffic flow around construction activities
- Monitor work zones for safety hazards and changing traffic conditions
- Assist with general labor duties when needed
- Ensure all safety equipment is used properly at all times
Requirements
- Valid Washington State Flagger Certification (preferred or required depending on project)
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong communication and attention to safety
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift traffic control equipment
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Experience in construction or traffic control is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) certification
- Experience with lane closures and roadway projects
- Knowledge of WSDOT and MUTCD standards
Work Conditions
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- Day and night shifts depending on project needs
- Overtime may be available
