What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related or maintenance concerns.

Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, assisting with visitor access, directional support, and adherence to site rules and healthcare location protocols.

Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with patients, staff, and visitors, and by assisting with de-escalation during tense or emotionally charged situations.
Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

Be at least 21 years of age.

At least 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field is required.

The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
