Job Description:
- This is a technical leadership role for someone with a strong background in cloud security, application security, or DevSecOps who enjoys solving complex security challenges while mentoring a small team. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between cybersecurity, cloud engineering, AI development, and infrastructure teams to ensure AI solutions are deployed securely.
- Lead and mentor a team of AI Security Remediation Analysts.
- Prioritize and coordinate remediation activities based on business risk and technical impact.
- Review security findings and validate remediation plans.
- Partner with software engineering, cloud, DevOps, infrastructure, and AI development teams to resolve security vulnerabilities.
Oversee remediation efforts related to:
- AI applications and AI agents
- Cloud infrastructure
- APIs and integrations
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Machine identities and service accounts
- Review AI deployments for security weaknesses, misconfigurations, excessive permissions, insecure APIs, secrets management, and authentication issues.
- Drive remediation metrics, governance, and process improvements.
- Support Zero Trust initiatives and secure AI deployment practices.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex security remediation efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Application Security
- Cloud Security
- DevSecOps
- Product Security
- Security Engineering
- Experience securing cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of:
- Secure SDLC
- CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud-native architectures
- IAM
- API Security
- Vulnerability Management
- Experience leading projects, mentoring engineers, or coordinating technical teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with:
- Kubernetes
- Docker
- Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
- Git and CI/CD platforms
- AI applications, LLMs, or AI Agents
- OWASP Top 10
- OWASP LLM Top 10
- NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- NIST AI Risk Management Framework
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, AZ-500, SC-300, AWS Security Specialty, or equivalent are a plus.
Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
