Overview
Join our vibrant hospitality team as a part-time 5PM-12AM evening Friday & Saturday Lounge assistant, serving guests with their Hookah pipe, some bar liquor mixing beverage preferred, food knowledge, where your energetic personality and passion for exceptional guest experiences will shine. In this role, you will serve guests in a sophisticated entertainment lounge, club environment, providing attentive service that elevates their visit. Your culinary knowledge and customer service skills will create memorable moments, ensuring each guest feels valued and satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Serve meals to residents and guests with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
- Assist adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas by bussing tables, cleaning utensils, and sanitizing surfaces according to health regulations.
- Follow safe manual handling practices when lifting or moving heavy trays or supplies to prevent injury.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly during food handling and cleaning tasks to ensure workplace safety.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal service, including assisting with food production and portioning as needed.
- Uphold JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations) standards for food safety and sanitation throughout all duties.
- Engage with residents in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their dining experience.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation protocols.
- Familiarity with workplace safety practices including safe lifting techniques and use of PPE.
- Excellent time management skills to coordinate meal service efficiently during evening hours.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain cleanliness standards through sanitation and cleaning routines.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact positively with residents and guests.
