Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Boba Tea Barista to join our vibrant café team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating high-quality beverages. This role involves preparing and serving boba tea, coffee, and other specialty drinks in a fast-paced environment. The Barista will also handle food safety and food preparation tasks, ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Prior experience in food service or the food industry is preferred, along with strong time management and sales skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of boba teas, coffee beverages, and other specialty drinks according to company recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food handling and food preparation
- Ensure all beverages are prepared promptly to meet customer expectations during busy hours
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
- Uphold health and safety regulations related to food service and food safety practices
- Support team members during peak hours by demonstrating effective time management
Experience
- Previous barista experience or coffee experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food safety protocols
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced café environment
