Pay Rate: $18.50–$20.00/hour
Position Overview:
The Vision Companies is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Worker to join a growing manufacturing team in Delano, MN. This position is responsible for safely loading and unloading products on an overhead conveyor system, inspecting finished parts, packaging materials for shipment, and supporting daily production operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Production Operations
- Load and unload products onto a continuously moving overhead conveyor system
- Unpackage materials and prepare them for production
- Read production prints to determine proper racking locations and paint coverage areas
- Inspect parts for damage before and after processing
- Repackage finished materials for shipment to customers
- Perform quality control inspections and accurately document inspection results
- Use hand and power tools to prepare or repair materials as needed
- Maintain production flow while meeting quality and productivity standards
Shipping & Receiving
- Prepare outbound shipments for customer pickup
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks
- Receive incoming customer materials, paint, and shop supplies
- Support inventory movement throughout the facility
Safety & Continuous Improvement
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Participate in safety meetings and ongoing training
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, standard work documentation, and process improvement activities
- Support additional production duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Preferred
- Previous manufacturing or production experience
- Forklift experience or willingness to be trained
- Experience working with overhead conveyor systems or industrial production equipment
Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing environment with continuous production activity
- Fast-paced work environment with moving production equipment
- Frequent standing, walking, and repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Exposure to production machinery, paint products, and shipping materials
- Regular participation in safety and quality programs
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Frequent lifting and moving of materials up to 50 pounds
- Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds
- Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and repetitive movements
- Ability to use hands for handling materials and operating hand and power tools
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to safely perform physical labor in a manufacturing environment
