We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Attendance Officer to join our educational team. In this vital role, you will oversee student attendance records, ensure compliance with attendance policies, and foster a positive environment that encourages punctuality and consistent participation. Responsibilities
- Monitor daily attendance of students and staff, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping using productivity software.
- Develop and implement attendance policies in collaboration with school administrators and program coordinators.
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and staff regarding attendance issues, absences, and tardiness.
- Manage attendance data to identify patterns or concerns, facilitating early intervention strategies for improved student engagement.
- Coordinate with teaching teams to support early childhood education programs and ensure compliance with educational standards.
- Assist in organizing attendance-related reports for school administration, accreditation purposes, or program evaluations.
- Support team management by providing training on attendance procedures and fostering a culture of accountability within the educational environment.
Qualifications
- Higher education teaching experience or background in education administration is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in school administrative roles or as a school administrative director.
- Strong skills in program development, personnel management in education, and working with students of various age groups.
- Experience in early childhood education centers or childcare environments is preferred.
- Proficiency with productivity software such as spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining a positive and motivating atmosphere.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with parents, staff, and students to promote attendance initiatives.
