Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas following established standards
- Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all amenities are well-stocked and presentable
- Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to maintain a spotless appearance
- Handle waste disposal and ensure all areas are free of debris and clutter
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for colleagues and guests
- Assist with special cleaning projects such as deep cleans or industrial cleaning tasks when needed
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques for various surfaces and materials in hospitality settings
- Knowledge of floor care methods including carpet extraction and tile polishing
- Experience with custodial or industrial cleaning practices is advantageous
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and guest service expectations
- Previous experience managing housekeeping tasks or supervising team members is a plus but not required
