Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home support for a client in Stuttgart. The ideal candidate will help maintain the client’s independence and safety in their own home, following a detailed Plan of Care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities: dressing, undressing, bathing (sponge bath and shower), grooming, and personal hygiene
- Prepare dinner meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping: change linens, clean kitchen and bathrooms, laundry, and general tidying
- Provide medication reminders and ensure the client’s medical alert button is within reach
- Monitor for seizure activity and report as required
- Encourage safe bathroom use and support fall/seizure precautions
- Communicate with family and home care team using a whiteboard system
Requirements
- Experience in personal care or home health (preferred but not required)
- Ability to assist with mobility and use of assistive devices (shower chair, commode, etc.)
- Understanding of dementia care and fall prevention
- Reliable, patient, and attentive to client safety
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and document activities
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Experience:
- Home care: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CNA (Required)
- CPR Certification (Required)
