About the Role
The Ultrasound Technician / Medical Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging studies under the direction of a qualified physician. Responsibilities include conducting ultrasound examinations, operating sonography equipment, preparing patients for procedures, documenting findings, maintaining equipment and supplies, and supporting exceptional patient care in a women's health setting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field preferred
- Completion of a sonography training program acceptable to ARRT or ARDMS
- ARRT or ARDMS registration required for applicable accredited sites
