Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for forecasting, analyzing performance data, logistics and inventory control of established product lines.
- Utilize procurement system to analyze material requirements and optimize buying strategies.
- Generate purchase orders for materials, finished goods, and other materials as needed.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery, and terms of sale with vendors.
- Investigate and follow-up on vendor related non-conformances.
- Maintain service levels by monitoring and proactively addressing inventory requirements.
- Monitor customer sku performance, backorders, high-movers, overstocks and fill ratios.
- Ability to work with domestic and international vendors, processing purchase orders.
- Communication and follow through skills.
- Ability to identify and manage priorities.
- Ability to multi-task productively.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. (Supply Chain Management preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of procurement / buying experience.
- Experience in hardware distribution and/or manufacturing both domestic and international.
- Knowledge of Procurement / Supply Chain Management software systems and advanced MS Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook Email.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail combined with good verbal and written communication.
