A numeracy coach at the elementary level is a specialized paraeducator who enhances the math achievement of students by providing evidence-based mathematics intervention.
There are three (3) positions open starting this year at Sagle, Farmin-Stidwell, and Kootenai Elementary Schools
Numeracy Coaches are District-level, meaning the school the position is based out of may change depending on needs
These positions are 6.0 - 6.5 hours/day - 30.0 - 32.5 hours/week.
Paraprofessional II starting pay range for the 2026/27 school year is $20.09 - $25.44/hour, dependant upon experience.
A numeracy coach at the elementary level is a specialized paraeducator who enhances the math achievement of students by providing evidence-based mathematics intervention. The coach works collaboratively with teachers,instructional coaches, administrators, and staff to improve numeracy instruction through a variety of feedback and support strategies.
ONE of the following:
Associate's Degree in any field OR
32+ semester credits of higher education OR
Passing score on the Parapro Praxis Assessment Test
Documentation of minimum qualifications must be provided in your application materials.
