Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tailor. We look for candidates with years of experience this is not entry level, we need experience. We need someone who can work on clothing for both men and women, that including suits, pants, dresses, etc. Speaking Spanish is not required but it is encouraged.
Duties
- Measure clients accurately to determine tailoring needs
- Alter and adjust garments for proper fit and appearance
- Operate sewing machines efficiently and safely
- Perform garment repairs, hemming, and resizing as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding client requests and offering professional advice
- Collaborate with retail staff to ensure timely completion of tailoring requests
Skills
- Proven experience in garment construction and sewing techniques
- Proficiency with sewing machines and related tools
- Ability to interpret patterns, measurements, and design specifications
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Basic math skills for measurements, fabric calculations, and adjustments
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
