Building Bridges for Kids, LLC
Building Bridges for Kids, LLC is seeking compassionate, energetic, and dedicated professionals to provide Early Intervention services to children from birth to three years of age throughout New York City.
Providers will deliver family-centered, play-based instruction using evidence-informed ABA strategies within natural environments, including homes, daycare settings, and community locations. Our mission is to empower children and families through individualized intervention that promotes developmental growth, independence, communication, and social-emotional success.
Responsibilities
· Provide Early Intervention Special Instruction services in accordance with each child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
· Utilize play-based, developmental, and ABA-informed strategies to support communication, behavior regulation, social interaction, attention, adaptive behavior, and developmental skills.
· Implement individualized interventions using Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Functional Communication Training (FCT), positive reinforcement, prompting and prompt fading, visual supports, task analysis, modeling, structured routines, and behavior support strategies.
· Collaborate with parents, caregivers, daycare staff, service coordinators, and multidisciplinary team members.
· Coach and support caregivers in implementing intervention strategies during daily routines.
· Complete session notes, progress reports, and all required documentation within agency and NYS Early Intervention timelines.
· Maintain compliance with NYS Department of Health Early Intervention regulations and agency policies.
· Support children in developing functional communication, social-emotional regulation, play skills, learning readiness, self-help skills, and independence.
Qualifications
· Candidates must meet New York State Early Intervention requirements for Special Instruction and possess one of the following credentials:
· Students with Disabilities (Birth–Grade 2) Certification
· Permanent Special Education Certification
· Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)
· Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
· Teacher of the Blind and Visually Impaired
· LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT, or other NYS-approved Early Intervention-qualified professionals
· ABA experience preferred but not required
Preferred Skills
· Experience working with children with developmental delays and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder.
· Strong communication and caregiver coaching skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
· Experience providing services in homes, daycare settings, and community environments.
· Knowledge of family-centered and culturally responsive practices.
Compensation
· $60–$80 per hour.
