Position Summary: The Quality Technician position requires a professional, organized individual with the ability to take ownership of new projects. This role requires management of multiple projects simultaneously, accuracy in daily work, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Good analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

Ability to work well with others in coordination of multiple job tasks involving several work shifts

Record of dependability and good attendance

Proficient in Microsoft Excel/ Outlook

Exhibit the ability to carry out assignments with little or no supervision

Ability to make objective decisions regarding technical data and specifications

Willing to work overtime as needed

Willing to travel off-site if needed
Duties (include but are not limited to):

Work cooperatively with management and all associates

Perform destructive and nondestructive tests on finished product to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded as directed by the Quality and Engineering Manager

Prepare quality sample specimens for testing

Conduct chemical checks of support equipment as needed

Perform dimensional testing of parts and record results
-
Complete required documentation and log into computer for record retention
-
Be familiar with customer requirements and specifications
-
Identify and report non-conformances of visual and metallurgical standards
-
Willingness to participate in educational training programs as required
