Our ideal candidate will have experience working with animals, knowledge of pet care standards and be able to provide basic medical care for pets in their home.
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND WORKING VEHICLE. If license is from Wisconsin, use of a company vehicle will be granted.
MUST BE 18 years old.
This position is a combination of day care & going to client homes. There is a fair amount of cleaning up after the animals and keeping our place as well as client homes disinfected. You will have to feed & medicate animals as well. Main animals are dogs & cats. Animal restraint, handling, ability to stand for 4 hours and continually walk for 4 hours mandatory. This is a PHYSICAL job. You will have to travel to client homes at all hours that you are working, via the highway in some instances.
SCHEDULE: You must work a minimum average of 20 hours PER WEEK, which includes working at least 3 weekend (Saturday or Sundays) a month for continued employment. Available hours are published up to a month a head of time but can be scheduled same week, bi-weekly, monthly etc - whatever works best for your schedule. PLEASE NOTE! If you are looking for mid-day only employment this is NOT the best position for you. Hours generally start at 6am or end around 7pm for available shifts.
PAY: Every Other Friday. Those selecting the bonus structure, bonuses paid out the first full pay period of the following month.
RATE OF PAY: Choice of $16.00/hour flat rate (no bonuses NOT subject to raises) OR $15.50/hour PLUS bonuses (expect to make $16.50-17/hour).
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
