Position Summary
RideShare Carz is a fast-growing provider of reliable vehicle rental solutions designed for rideshare and delivery drivers. We are currently seeking a Collections Specialist to join our on-site team located in Garland, TX. Our company is recognized for operational excellence, building robust customer relationships, and fostering a collaborative work culture. As RideShare Carz continues to expand, the Collections Specialist will play a critical role in supporting both our finance and operations departments. The responsibilities include managing billing accuracy, ensuring timely payments, and reconciling accounts to support our growth and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Work Schedule and Location
This is a full-time position with Monday through Friday availability between the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday availability between the hours of 9:00AM and 5:00PM. A one-hour lunch break is provided from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM each day. The role is based in Garland, TX 75043, and reliable transportation to the work site is required. Please note that relocation assistance is not offered for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and process invoices for vehicle rentals, mileage, tolls, and other applicable fees.
- Monitor and reconcile customer payments using internal systems and third-party platforms.
- Review and resolve billing discrepancies in a professional and efficient manner.
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding overdue accounts and payment reminders.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized records of accounts, related documentation, and payment reports.
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and customer service teams to ensure accurate billing and swift issue resolution.
- Prepare regular revenue generated summaries and status reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related revenue generation role.
- Demonstrated strength in analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- 1+ year experience with Stripe or similar billing systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly rate ranging from $19.00 to $22.00, based on relevant experience.
